Zeb’s General Store is one of the main attractions found in North Conway, New Hampshire. When I think of the village, Zeb’s comes right to mind. It’s no surprise because the general store can easily consume much of a day’s time. There’s so much for sale and so much of it is old fashioned and fun to browse through. Each time Laura and I visit North Conway, we make sure to stop by this store to see what’s new in stock. It’s an adventure in itself.

In this post, I take you along a walking tour inside of this landmark. If you’ve never visited before, some of what you see will easily be a feast for the eyes. Enjoy!
During our first visit to Zeb’s, we quickly discovered that the store sold pretty much everything under the sun. From jellies and jams to candy and soaps, there was a very wide selection. We actually got sucked into buying some candy. We purchase a pound of licorice for $8. Can you believe that? The tourists we were.
I’m going to post some photos of the store here with short captions. I’m sure you’ll get the idea of what things were about just by looking at the photos, but hopefully the captions will help. To start, this is part of downstairs.
This is some of what was upstairs on the second floor.
Finally, here are two photos of the old fashioned candy that was downstairs. There was so much more, but you get the idea.
I’ve decided that I’m actually going to leave this post here. I have so many more photos that I’d like to break things up a bit. For my related posts, I’ll focus on visiting The Christmas Loft and the covered bridge and general store in Jackson, New Hampshire. Then after that, perhaps I’ll write one about Bethel, Maine. It’s just too much for this one page. Thanks for reading and stay tuned!
